Joy. This is the one word that comes to mind when I think of Caitlin and Jason and their wedding. Joy radiated throughout everyone in attendance, and most abundantly through the bride and groom themselves. I’m certain these two could not stop smiling if they had tried! Below are just a few of my favorites of this beautiful couple. I loved working with them so much that I had to refrain from posting their entire set of wedding photos!

The following talented vendors contributed to this beautiful Olde Breton Inn wedding: Holy Face Catholic Church, ceremony; Olde Breton Inn, reception venue; Hitched by Heather, wedding planner; Weavers Fresh Cut Flowers, flowers; FI Sound, DJ; Jordan Walker, cake; Printing Press, printing; S-Kape Salon, hair and makeup; Jill Christine Design & Photography, photography.

We’ve had a lot of warm weather this winter, but Kim and Andrew didn’t luck out with nice temperatures for their engagement session. We originally rescheduled due to ice, and the second date we chose happened to be one of the coldest this winter. But we persevered — rosy cheeks, red noses and all — and it was definitely worth it! I’m hoping these two will be rewarded with a beautiful warm fall day for their wedding later this year.

Often when I meet with couples, it comes up in conversation that either one or both aren’t comfortable with having their picture taken. And as someone who stands behind the camera most of the time, I can relate. But this session is proof that regardless of how you feel about having your picture taken, love photographs beautifully every single time!

I am beyond excited for this sweet couple’s wedding later this fall and the chance to photograph them once again. If this is how they pull off casual, can you imagine how amazing they’re going to look in wedding attire?!

When the night ended, their guests hoisted them high above their shoulders as they danced and sang. Celebrating the couple in this manner is a tradition they’ve shared at each friend’s wedding. Talk about literally being supported by your friends!  And even though Tracey was a little nervous about being lifted off the ground, I’m happy to say that no one dropped her or Kurtis. With such support and a wonderful network of loving friends and family, it’s clear that their marriage will be a success.
