A Few of My Favorite Things: Granola Bars

I’m always looking for ways to save a few dollars at the grocery store, which lately has meant making a lot of our family’s snacks at home. Granola bars were one of the first store bought items to go. I found this recipe for granola bars at Weelicious and they have become a staple in our house. We make them every week without fail!

A batch of 30 bars costs about $4-$5 to make. Most boxed granola bars break down to a little more than $1 per bar, so that’s a $26 savings! The fact that these granola bars taste great and aren’t processed are huge benefits as well.

For the recipe, visit Weelicious. (Note: my oven bakes on the faster side so I only cook these for 25 minutes. You may want to start checking them early the first time you make them.)
