A view of the river, a beach and a sweet family are all the makings needed for a fun summer photo session!

Oh I how love big families! Jessica is one of seven in her family, and with so much family running around, there was no shortage of laughter, tears or love on her wedding day. Big families always bring big celebrations and what a great celebration this was! Below are just a few of my favorites from Jessica and Phil’s gorgeous wedding at Smith Creek Farm.
The following talented vendors contributed to their day: Brenda and Erica from Platinum Salon and Spa, hair; Smokey Joe’s, catering: Kenny’s Flowers, florist; Mary’s Hope on Church Cove, preparation venue; Smith Creek Farm, ceremony and reception venue; Mary Ann Rahall, From this Day Forward, officiant; and Jill Christine Design and Photography, photography.
I have documented a lot of firsts for this family — their wedding, chopping their first Christmas tree, expecting a baby, baby’s first visit to a Christmas tree farm, and now baby’s first birthday! I can’t tell you how honored I am that they have come back for each of these important milestones. I have loved watching them grow as a family!
Watching this little girl grow throughout the year has been so much fun! We often think of a photo session as documenting a moment in time, but in the process we’re creating memories at the session itself! That I not only get to capture these memories, but be part of them as well is such an honor.
On a separate note, how much fun is this hot air balloon? This may need to be a staple in my prop collection!

Joy. This is the one word that comes to mind when I think of Caitlin and Jason and their wedding. Joy radiated throughout everyone in attendance, and most abundantly through the bride and groom themselves. I’m certain these two could not stop smiling if they had tried! Below are just a few of my favorites of this beautiful couple. I loved working with them so much that I had to refrain from posting their entire set of wedding photos!
The following talented vendors contributed to this beautiful Olde Breton Inn wedding: Holy Face Catholic Church, ceremony; Olde Breton Inn, reception venue; Hitched by Heather, wedding planner; Weavers Fresh Cut Flowers, flowers; FI Sound, DJ; Jordan Walker, cake; Printing Press, printing; S-Kape Salon, hair and makeup; Jill Christine Design & Photography, photography.
Thank you so much for capturing our day so beautifully, Jill! We are so thankful you were there with us!
I loved working with you both and being a part of your day! It was beautiful!
