At Alyssa and Jonathan’s Historic St. Mary’s waterfront wedding, their friends recounted when the two began dating. Jonathan gave Alyssa an Easter basket that included a note asking Alyssa to be his girlfriend. It included two checkboxes for her answer — “yes” or “yes.” Perhaps Jonathan excluded the option of no because he knew Alyssa wouldn’t choose it, or perhaps he knew then that they were simply meant to be. Fast forward to their gorgeous wedding day and the start of their marriage, and I think we can all agree that “yes” was the only choice!
