It’s no secret that two-year-old children are energetic so you can imagine how that energy multiplies with two-year-old twins! These little guys kept us on the move during their session. And although we didn’t capture many posed shots of the family, as their mom Carla says, this is how she wants to remember this age in their lives as this is a true depiction of how things really are. The time for posed photos will come later, but for right now, enjoy these candid shots of this adorable duo!

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, and while that may be true, I considered ourselves very lucky that on Danielle and Matt’s day, the rain came and went allowing us short bursts of time to take photographs outside. I guess you could say that they got the best of both worlds — the luck that comes with rain, but the beauty of outdoor photos as well. Danielle and Matt, however, didn’t let the intermittent showers affect them at all. They were truly happy to be surrounded by their friends and family as they became husband and wife regardless of the weather!
The following talented vendors contributed to their wedding day: DJ Bob Hartmon of DJ Hardrock; caterer and cake, Basic T Catering, Theresa McNeil; flowers, Costco and DIY Bride; church and hall, St. Joseph Parish Hall, Pomfret Md.; bridal gown, Serendipity Bridal; bridesmaid dresses, Rent The Runway; and groomsmen vests, Men’s Warehouse.

Kristi and Kevin, who married this past August (see their wedding here), are celebrating their first Christmas together married! That means it’s the first season to establish a few new traditions including chopping down their first Christmas tree together. I was excited that they asked me to tag along and document this fun outing. If you’re not already in the Christmas spirit, perhaps these pictures will help you get there!

I’m taking a break from the blog for the rest of the week to enjoy many Christmas traditions with my family, but I will be back next week with a few more weddings and several more portrait sessions to finish out the year. Merry Christmas!
