Kristi and Kevin, who married this past August (see their wedding here), are celebrating their first Christmas together married! That means it’s the first season to establish a few new traditions including chopping down their first Christmas tree together. I was excited that they asked me to tag along and document this fun outing. If you’re not already in the Christmas spirit, perhaps these pictures will help you get there!
I’m taking a break from the blog for the rest of the week to enjoy many Christmas traditions with my family, but I will be back next week with a few more weddings and several more portrait sessions to finish out the year. Merry Christmas!
I had been holding off on posting these as I knew many of my clients wanted to use them for their Christmas cards. But since I’ve seen a lot of these smiling faces in my mailbox lately, I figure it’s okay to share them with you! Just a few favorites from each session. I love the warm glow of fall in all of these and the beautiful faces too!
Meeting at Dupont Circle became such a part of their routine that at some point in their relationship, it became unnecessary to even make a formal meeting plan or mention a location. They both knew exactly where to go and when. It was only fitting then that we begin Mary and Scott’s engagement session there. Here are a few of my favorites of this sweet couple. It may have been a little colder and a little damper than expected, but as Amanda and Robert said their vows, they hardly seemed to notice the rain coming down around them. That was partly thanks to Robert’s brother who held an umbrella over them during the ceremony, but nonetheless, the weather did not dampen the beautiful celebration alongside the Chesapeake Bay.
