There’s something so sweet about a little girl and flower petals. I just love the joy on her face!

Southern Maryland offers so many beautiful locations and Historic St. Mary’s is no exception. Every time I take photographs here, I find a new location to fall in love with. This time, Jason and Kaitlin showed me a path that I have probably walked by a dozen times before and never noticed. This path, beautiful in its own right, led to a secluded stretch of beach — the very spot where Jason proposed!
I can’t wait to see these two again in just a little over a month at yet another gorgeous Southern Maryland venue, also on the water!

Christina and Iain don’t own a car, which made traveling to the National Arboretum from the city by public transportation a little difficult. Their trip involved a Metro ride and a 40-minute stop over, followed by a bus ride. All of this left Christina wondering if a trip to see the bonsai exhibit was worth the trouble. Turns out it was as this is the spot that Iain proposed!
Wanting to document the importance of this location, they chose this same spot for their engagement session. Only this time they rented a car to get there!

Wow, PERFECT location for a gorgeous photoshoot.
Thank you Katie!
These are gorgeous! I love the pillars!
Today I’m sharing photos of the beautiful Magee family. They hadn’t had family photos taken since Liam, now 4, was a baby! I’m so happy that we were able to capture these memories for them.

I love the sun shining down on them from the back, especially in the second to last photo. Beautiful, Jill! (As always!)
Thank you Katie!
He has a way of making her laugh. It’s the kind of laugh that comes from way down deep and can’t be contained. And this kind of laugh is contagious.
I enjoy every wedding I photograph, but I usually don’t laugh as much as I did at Tricia and Sean’s wedding. Their happiness affected all of those who were present. Tricia and Sean, here’s to many more years of love and laughter, lots and lots of laughter!
