    For Christmas, Tammie purchased a family photo session for her mom. This thoughtful present required a little bit of work on Tammie’s part. After all, coordinating the schedules for 13 people was no small feat! When we checked the forecast a few days in advance, it didn’t look promising. Since rescheduling would have been difficult, this brave family endured temperatures well below freezing with the added bonus of lots of wind! You’ll notice that in most of the pictures, they’re huddled together for warmth. And I’m sure that when they look back at these, they’ll still be able to feel the cold!

    We’re down to just five more family sessions from the end of November and December to make their appearance on the blog! First up is Susan’s family. Susan is also a photographer so we exchanged family portrait sessions this year and it worked out great! Often times when you’re behind the camera, you don’t make your way into many photographs and we were aiming to fix that problem. I think that family photos are a wonderful gift to our children. They may not appreciate them now when they’re little, but I believe they will treasure them as they grow.
