This pair had the sweetest, most personal reasons for booking a Southern Maryland anniversary session. Their session was both a celebration of their shared past victories and hopes for the future. It was an honor to celebrate with them and document this little slice of their lives. I’m excited to see what the future holds for them!
I was there when her parents married. (See their wedding here.) On top of being just lovely, it was downright fun! Their close friend officiated and through the stories he shared, and even a little rap, he had everyone laughing until they cried. It was a beautiful start to an unfolding love story that has now led them to parenthood. What a blessed little babe to grow up in a house that knows the value of love and laughter.
Marylee and Mike had a beautiful, relaxing wedding at Jefferson Patterson Park. Their family and friends explored the park, played Jenga, and ate barbecue, all while celebrating with this happy couple. I love weddings like these where the focus is less about the wedding event and more about two people beginning their lives together.
The following vendors contributed to Marylee and Mike’s day: preparation venue, Solomons Victorian Inn; ceremony and reception venue, Jefferson Patterson Park; and catering, Mission BBQ.
