Rain on a wedding day makes me a little nervous. So when the forecast called for showers on Brenda and Dan’s wedding day, I was praying that the overcast skies would hold on to those raindrops at least during the times we needed to be outside. While I worried, Brenda remained perfectly calm. She even asked at one point if it was supposed to rain as if the thought hadn’t crossed her mind and wouldn’t bother her if it did. She was completely focused on the purpose of the day and unconcerned with all of the what ifs. I can’t think of a better way to begin a marriage, focusing on the bigger picture and not letting the smaller, uncontrollable circumstances affect her outlook. Thankfully it didn’t rain, but I’m not sure Brenda would have even noticed if it did! And now for a few of my favorites from their elegant summer wedding.
The following vendors contributed to the day include: Anita’s Cake Shop, Scarborough Farm Flowers and Olde Breton Inn.
