Caitlin and Scott chose to have a small, intimate St. Ignatius Chapel Point wedding. Their guests were treated to a scenic ride from Elliott City to a historical gem in Southern Maryland. St. Ignatius is the oldest Catholic parish in continuous service in the United States. It was founded in 1641.
This beautiful church with such a rich history is a symbol of faith and strength — two qualities that Caitlin and Scott also share. And just as these qualities have served as a foundation for the church for several hundred years, they will also serve as a foundation for Caitlin and Scott’s marriage. I was honored to document the ceremony and some bride and groom portraits for this sweet couple.
