It’s time to order Christmas cards! This year, there are four gorgeous designs to choose from, along with the option to fully customize the back of your card.  All Christmas card orders include client’s choice of photographs, customization of names, up to two rounds of changes and envelopes.

Cards are printed on premium matte, 100# cover stock, and come with white envelopes. The turnaround time to receive your cards is 7-10 business days. So if you ordered today, you’d be done with your Christmas cards by Thanksgiving!

We’ve all heard it before — rain on your wedding day is good luck. Well if that’s true, Kristin and Mike may just be the luckiest bride and groom. It did rain on their wedding day, but not until all the outdoor portraits were complete and we were safely on our way to the reception. Thank you Mother Nature! This sweet couple deserved nothing less.

Kristin and Mike married at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Solomons Island, which was exciting for me as this is also my church. Later they had a navy blue and coral, nautical themed reception at the Hollywood Firehouse, one of the only places around big enough to hold their numerous family and friends. They’re loved by so many! And, after knowing them for just a short time, it’s obvious to see why!

The change of seasons also brings new couples to Jill Christine Design & Photography! I’m excited to get to know and work with so many wonderful people in 2016 including Jessica and Ryan. To make their engagement session extra special, they brought along a couple of furry friends, who complete their family, to join them! A special thanks to Jessica’s parents who helped care for the pups during the session. I’m excited to see everyone again next spring when the two marry at Flora Corner Farm!

The first time I photographed sweet Zoey, she was still in her momma’s belly! So I was very excited to meet her in person for this session. We met at Herrington on the Bay, which was such a lovely idea as it’s the same place where her mommy and daddy married a few years ago. I just love the vibrant colors, beautiful light, and adorable faces, of course, that we were able to incorporate. And I’m incredibly thankful that this family has allowed me to document these times in their lives and watch them grow. Watch the blog around Christmas time to see how much Zoey has grown!

They walked behind the bride’s childhood home and down the hill on the farm where so many memories had been shared.

They walked past the pond as the guests gathered on the other side.

They walked to the flower covered arbor, which the bride’s grandmother had nurtured for months leading to the wedding.

Side by side, they walked — the father who would give away his baby girl and the man who would marry his best friend.

It was poetic, and beautiful, and the kind of moment that brings on those happy tears! Kourtney and Billy, once high school sweethearts, are now Mr. & Mrs. Rabbitt! I  And I was honored to document this occasion for them. Here’s to their #hoppilyeveryafter!
