The Lofland family has a lot to celebrate — five years of marriage and one handsome little boy. And when there’s a reason to celebrate, there’s a reason to take pictures! Here are a few of my favorites from an anniversary/family session with this beautiful family in Annapolis, Maryland.
I thought it might be nice to post something a little different today. It’s not every day that I get to work with our furry friends, which is why it was fun to photograph Bandit. With just the right amount of snacks, he did great! He’s such a lucky dog to have a wonderful owner and I’m so glad they’ll have these pictures of him to enjoy.

A gorgeous waterfront view, cocktails by the pool, a talented band with guests that knew how to dance (the old fashioned way), and bow ties of course, made for an elegant, classic wedding. Sunny skies graced us during the ceremony, while rain poured down later in the evening. But under the tent, you hardly noticed as Kate and Matt enjoyed the moment and danced the night away.

It feels like just yesterday I had my first photo session with the Remik family. Will was around 7 years old, and this year, he graduated from high school. I’m still not sure that I like to admit that as it makes me feel a little old! But it’s been so much fun watching this beautiful family grow.
